The route offers a remarkable diversity of landscapes: the mountains of the Pyrenees or the Alps, the lakes of Narbonnaise, Languedoc or Camargue Gardoise, the Midi or Rhône à Sète canals, the Provencal hinterland and the beaches of Languedoc, Roussillon and the Côte d’Azur.
