Camping Le Haras swimming pool: relaxation and comfort in the heart of nature
The pool is open from April 1 to September 30, from 9am to 7pm (dates may vary according to weather conditions).
You’ll enjoy relaxing in this area surrounded by lush vegetation. Wide beaches and sun loungers are at your disposal. Larger children can enjoy a 20m x 10m pool, perfect for swimming, while a shallower 12m semi-circular pool awaits younger children.
This oasis is next to the bar.
For a calm and respectful swim, balloons and large buoys should be reserved for the sea.
Don’t forget your swimsuit in your suitcase (swimming shorts are not allowed).

Sandra from “Sourireessentielle” is a specialist in massage and brief therapy. You can book your sessions directly with her before your arrival or during your stay.

Laurence, a graduate in sophrology, NLP, Ericksonian therapeutic hypnosis and I.N.E.S.S (neuro-emotional integration through sensory stimulation), offers weekly sophro-relaxation sessions in high season. Fitness sessions
Loanah, a state-qualified professional dancer with the Opéra National du Capitole de Toulouse, offers fitness sessions in high season. Her sessions are based on ballet and pilates movements, and are designed to strengthen and loosen muscles.
Horse-riding activities: excursions and introductions between sea and mountains, near Perpignan
Horses have always been an integral part of the estate, and the Gil family, who are passionate about riding, wanted to share this activity with their customers by partnering with the La Cigale and La Fourmi stables in Elne.
Aude-Isabelle Bessière is in charge of equestrian activities at the campsite.
She’ll introduce the little ones to the joys of horseback riding during a supervised pony ride around the campsite!
She’ll be delighted to share her passion with you!
And for those who wish to take group or private lessons, or go for other rides, her stable is located in Elne, just 7km from the campsite! She’ll be delighted to welcome you!
Hiking and cycling
Our department is full of hiking trails for nature lovers!
We’re located at the foot of the Albères mountains, which offer a wide choice of walks.
At reception, you’ll find hiking books and maps that you can consult on site.
There are also many websites where you can download hiking trails.
Cycling trails are becoming more and more popular and allow you to explore the region. We can provide you with a map of these trails.
Activities and entertainment
Nature, sport, well-being, sharing and conviviality are the key words of the activities we offer!
We’ll be kicking things off in June with aquagym classes, pétanque tournaments, concerts, themed meals and afternoon tea!
In high season, we offer pétanque and ping-pong tournaments, archery, aquagym classes, fitness classes, sophrology sessions, massages, watercolor workshops, concerts and themed meals.
For the youngest: handicraft workshops and introduction to pony-trekking.
All our activities are free, with the exception of massages, themed meals and afternoon tea.
Evenings at Camping Le Haras in Palau del Vidre
Once a week in June and September, twice a week in July and August, we offer live music. As music fans, during the winter we choose the duos and groups, generally from the region and from different musical universes, who will come and liven up the evenings.
Camping animals
We have retired horses that both young and old like to visit. Of course, it’s not allowed to feed them or enter their paddocks. We work in partnership with an equestrian center for pony ride activities.
La Botanique: discover our nature park near the sea
Our campsite is home to over 600 varieties of trees, shrubs and flowers. To share our passion for botany with you Here you’ll find an itinerary that will enable you to discover the park and its various plant species, most of which are Mediterranean or tropical. Glass art: a local tradition, a Catalan tradition
Palau del Vidre means glass palace in Catalan. Glassmaking in Palau-del-Vidre dates back to the 14th century. Glass works are on display at reception and in the campsite, and you can visit glass artisans in the village.
