Located at the lake of Palau del Vidre, 5 minutes from Perpignan and Argelès-sur-Mer, the Greenland festival’s main objective is to have fun, of course, but at the same time to reduce as much as possible the negative impacts generated by the events sector.
Raising awareness, sorting, recycling, composting, favouring short circuits, including local actors, using the resources that are within our reach; these are the key words defining our line of conduct, in order to move towards a more sustainable and responsible world.
We are aware that the event and live performance sectors are subject to numerous social, economic and environmental issues. Through the Greenland Festival, we wish to demonstrate our degree of responsibility, which will be based on the following main areas: awareness, waste management, transport, involvement of local players, water management, catering and finally, carbon offsetting.
